It was a perfect start to the 2022/23 FIS Freeski slopestyle World Cup season on Saturday at Austria’s Stubai glacier with Birk Ruud and Andri Ragettli taking the 2 top places. In the women’s Grace Henderson from the US landed her first World Cup podium to place 3rd.
Birk Ruud continues his winning streak to have an incredible run to take the top position. This follows after recently winning the Big Air event in Chur. This puts him in a good position to be a strong contender to take the Overall Crystal Globe as he did last season.
Birk Ruud at 22 years old is now on his 10th career World Cup win.
Andri Ragettli also had an impressive performance to secure 2nd place behind Birk.
