Andri Ragettli and Nick Goepper take GOLD medals at the XGAMES in Aspen in the Big Air and Slopestyle events.

In the Big Air event on Saturday Andri Ragettli claimed his first ever GOLD medal at the X Games, turning his childhood dream into reality. Nick Goepper took the GOLD medal in the slopestyle event the following day.

To take the GOLD in the Big Air, Andri stomped two massive tricks, a triple cork 1980 mute and he then went onto land the world First Triple Cork 1260 Safety.  This was a big win for Andri, as he raised the level with his mind blowing tricks.
Quote from Andri - “ YESSSSS X-Games Big-Air GOLD!???????? What a night another childhood dream came to reality! I remember the days, I was watching X-Games Big-Air and thinking it would be amazing to be an X-Games athlete one day!???? that dream was so far away but 10 years later with lots of sacrifice and hard work I made it happen!????Grabbing X-Games Gold seems unreal to me! A night I will never forget.”

Just missing the podium in 4th place was Alex Beaulieu- Marchand, who stomped a switch triple 14 octograb to octograb- his trick was also a highlight of the evening.

In 2nd place was Antoine Adelisse and in 3rd Alex Hall.

The following day in the Slopestyle event Nick Goepper took the GOLD medal.  It had been 6 years since his last Gold Medal and his 10th year competing at the X Games.  He was ahead of Ferdinand Dahl in 2nd and Evan McEachran 3rd.
ABM just missed the podium again placing 4th and Andri Ragettli claimed 5th.

Unfortunately Birk Ruud who was one of the favourites coming into the XGames has caught the Corona Virus and could not compete.
