Markus Eder 2nd OVERALL Freeride World Tour Rankings 2018

Markus Eder took 3rd at the Xtreme Verbier, the final event on the Freeride World Tour and 2nd in the Overall Freeride World Tour Ranking.

The legendary Xtreme Verbier was the Final event on the Freeride World Tour. The Bec des Rosses is always an impressive venue to finish off the season for the riders on tour. The conditions were challenging as the visibility was limited.

Markus Eder's run was nothing short of impressive, skiing with fluidity a steep and technical line off the top, stomping an exposed air then into another 360 off the next cliff and then doing what would seem impossible for most a nosebutter 360 off his last cliff.

Coming from a freestyle background he has been stepping up the level incorporating his freestyle tricks into his run and he certainly did that at the Xtremes placing him in 3rd place behind Michael Bimboes (1st) and Craig Murray (2nd). This result secured his 2nd place in the overall ranking on the Freeride World Tour 2018.
